Dear Friends and Sega Gamers:

     As a video gamer, I'm sure you're very aware of the
exciting period that our industry is currently experiencing.
This size of the game playing market has increased
dramatically over the past years and as newcomers enter into
the market, existing gamers continue to search for new
technologies which provide them with the very best in video
game systems and games.

     Sega is a company who's heritage of leadership dwells
upon our "Commitment to Excellence".   It's our commitment
to providing you, our customers, with the finest in a
complete line of video game systems and games in every
category.  Sega Genesis, the new Sega Game Gear, and Sega
Master System II.  Truly, Sega Does It All . . . And Sega
Does It Better!

     For 16-bit action, nothing beats Sega Genesis.  Since
1989, Genesis has been the leader and number one best seller
in 16-bit systems.  We are very pleased that 80% of all 16-
bit game players have chosen Genesis.  Genesis software is
known for it's superior graphics and challenging game play.
This year is no exception with the introduction of Sonic The
Hedgehog - the fastest video game character ever; and other
new games like ToeJam & Earl, Quackshot, Fantasia, Spider-
Man, and Mario LeMieux Hockey.  Genesis truly leads the 16-
Bit Video Game Revolution.

     Sega's new Game Gear, Japan's hottest selling color
portable video game system, became available in the U.S.
earlier this year.  With a sharper picture than any portable
screen in it's price range, Game Gear titles feature arcade
blockbusters like Shinobi, Super Monaco GP and G-LOC; great
sports titles like Joe Montana Football coming this Fall;
and challenging adventure games like Dragon Crystal and
Revenge of Drancon.

     If it's 8-bit you're into, you can't do better than the
lower priced Sega Master System.  A longtime leader in 8-bit
graphics and gameplay, the redesigned Sega Master System II
makes the best 8-bit system around even better.  Its current
library of hits is still growing with new titles like
Strider, Spider-Man, and Golden Axe Warrior available this
year.  All Master System titles can be played on Genesis
with the Power Base Converter.

     Yes, it's an exciting time in video gaming and Sega is
a primary source of that excitement.  We at Sega are
