Merchandise
Here's some pictures and information on some Sega memorabilia. Most of these are grabbed from ebay photos, so the picture quality is sometimes poor and I don't have complete information on them. Submissions of pictures or information are most definitely welcome.

-Here's an animation cell from The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog animated series that was produced by DiC. The animated series was of a lesser quality than others...

-A 1997 Tiger handheld game was produced for NiGHTS Into Dreams. First impression by one owner? "shitty. lol. its jst a simple garb and move around game."

-Sonic & Knuckles Collection for the PC. Included were Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, and Sonic 3 & Knuckles (which is Sonic 3 with the "lock-on" feature activated, allowing you to play as Knuckles).

-Some Sonic Adventure figures. These are from the series 2 set of figures by Sega and ReSaurus, released in 2000. Pictured are a total of 4 figures. There is Big the Cat (with fishing pole golden ring, clear rod and base), the rare E-102 Gamma (with hover disc, golden ring, clear rod and base), Amy Rose (with magic mallet, golden ring, clear rod and base), and of course, Sonic the Hedgehog (with skis and poles, golden ring, clear rod and base). Here's another shot, featuring the same Sonic and Big, as well as Sonic from series 1 (with just golden ring and action figure base).

-Thanks to Jacky Beauverd, we have these nice pictures of a Sonic swatch. The first shows the text fairly well, while the second shows off the artwork.

-Sonic Team released a few things on Sonic's 10th Anniversarry. These items were first only available through Sega's Direct online service in Japan, but were later released in North America (and probably other territories).
First up is a sterling silver ring, which sits in a black velvet box, which also contains a gaurantee card that lists the serial number. The velvet box is in a blue box, which in a bigger black box. There were only 500 of the N.A. rings manufactured (or so I here). Here's a shot of the ring in it's ring case. Another of it on a human finger. Yet another shot, this one featuring the numerous boxes. And finally, a side view of the ring.
Next up is a Sonic figurine. It stands about 8.5" tall and I'm uncertain of what it's made of. It stands on a 10th anniversarry base. There were only 250 manufactured. Here's pictures of it from the front, the left side, Sonic's butt, and a top/side view. Wish I had one on my desk. :\
And the third item is a beautiful glass cube Sonic. This thing just has to be seen to be drooled over. Here's pictures from from the back-left corner, the left side, and one from the top. Simply beautiful. From the official description: "A three-dimensional, wireframe-style model of Sonic has been laser-etched into a crystal cube. This is the modern-day equivalent of a ship in a bottle, except its the world's fastest hedgehog preserved in crystal for all eternity! There are only 200 left out of a limited edition of 500, so don't miss the boat. Get one today!"

-A House of the Dead Zippo lighter that WOW Entertainment gave away in early 2002 for a contest (only to Japan residents). There were a few of these up for winners.

-A great Panzer Dragoon Orta statue from buildup. I could not find better pictures of this statue, so I included surrounding media from the website for it. It sold for $198 and only 500 were made.

-Here's the front and back of a white Sega Club tshirt.

-Around 2007, some toy manufacturers started relasing bendable figures for the Sonic gang. Here's a chart displaying all of the "up to25 points of articulation!" These things are actually pretty cool, but retailed for up to $35 USD, although some were much cheaper. Here's a few random pictures of the boxed figures and posers: blue translucent Sonic from Jazwares' Wave 2, Super Posers Super Sonic, Sonic walks like an Egyptian, Shadow strikes a pose, cancelled Tails prototype, and a cancelled Knuckles prototype. You can check out more pictures and information on some of them at Sonic Gear.

-Chakan creator and designer Robert A Kraus released a sweet Chakan resin kit! It's available plain and painted. I've spotted them on ebay, possibly on sale from RAK himself. The plain set costs $75, the pained $150.

Miscellaneous stuff that I don't have any/a lot of information on, or just don't have a more appropriate place for yet.

-Sonic Alarm Clock
-Sonic coffee mug
